The fu­neral for Pauline M. Ste­wart (nee Whit­lock) of Cavendish was held on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 20, 2016 from Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home Chapel where the ser­vice was con­ducted by Rev­erend Clau­dia D. Kit­son, who de­liv­ered the mes­sage, There’s Room For Us All. Words of re­mem­brance were shared by grand­son, Michael Orr, and scrip­tures were read by grand­daugh­ters, Lori Smith and Kelsey Ste­wart. Dur­ing the ser­vice, soloist, Ken­dall Docherty, ren­dered the hymns, Be Not Afraid, God Of The Moun­tain, Here I Am Lord and On Ea­gles Wings. He was ac­com­pa­nied on the pi­ano by Linda Doiron. The pall­bear­ers were grand­sons, Michael Orr and Stephen Smith, grand­sonin-law, Kyle McSweeney, fam­ily friends, Wayne Mut­tart, Bruce Simp­son and Garth Reid. Flower­bear­ers were grand­daugh­ters, Lori Smith, Kelsey Ste­wart, Cather­ine Ste­wart and Court­ney Ste­wart, grand­daugh­ters-in-law, Kim­ber­ley Smith and Kim­berly Orr. The hon­orary pall­bear­ers were grand­sons, Jeremy Orr, Brad Smith and Jonathan Ste­wart, and ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance. Among those at­tend­ing the ser­vice were res­i­dents and staff from Villa Marguerite, and rep­re­sen­ta­tives of: Kens­ing­ton Agri­cul­tural Ser­vices, At­lantic Sys­tems Man­u­fac­tur­ing, R.W. Wood­work­ing, Sher­wood Drug Mart and Queen El­iz­a­beth Hos­pi­tal. Fol­low­ing the ser­vice the in­ter­ment took place in the fam­ily plot at Cavendish Com­mu­nity Ceme­tery.
