The funeral for Pauline M. Stewart (nee Whitlock) of Cavendish was held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottet­own Funeral Home Chapel where the service was conducted by Reverend Claudia D. Kitson, who delivered the message, There’s Room For Us All. Words of remembranc­e were shared by grandson, Michael Orr, and scriptures were read by granddaugh­ters, Lori Smith and Kelsey Stewart. During the service, soloist, Kendall Docherty, rendered the hymns, Be Not Afraid, God Of The Mountain, Here I Am Lord and On Eagles Wings. He was accompanie­d on the piano by Linda Doiron. The pallbearer­s were grandsons, Michael Orr and Stephen Smith, grandsonin-law, Kyle McSweeney, family friends, Wayne Muttart, Bruce Simpson and Garth Reid. Flowerbear­ers were granddaugh­ters, Lori Smith, Kelsey Stewart, Catherine Stewart and Courtney Stewart, granddaugh­ters-in-law, Kimberley Smith and Kimberly Orr. The honorary pallbearer­s were grandsons, Jeremy Orr, Brad Smith and Jonathan Stewart, and everyone in attendance. Among those attending the service were residents and staff from Villa Marguerite, and representa­tives of: Kensington Agricultur­al Services, Atlantic Systems Manufactur­ing, R.W. Woodworkin­g, Sherwood Drug Mart and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Following the service the interment took place in the family plot at Cavendish Community Cemetery.
