MACLEOD, Marion G.

The funeral service for Marion G. MacLeod was held on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home to Dundas United Church. The service was conducted by Rev. Doreen Daley. A reading from Ecclesiastes was given by her son, John Ross MacLeod. A tribute was given by her daughter, Cathy Peters, and her granddaughter, Danielle Peters. The organist was Claire Gallant and pianist was Mark Haines, who accompanied the Kings United Church choir and the congregation in the hymns Precious Lord Take My Hand and Go Now In Peace. During the service, Darren MacEachern and Eddy Quinn sang On Eagles Wings and In The Sweet By and By. The pallbearers were Andrew MacLeod, Brendan MacLeod, Dean MacKinnon, Colin MacLeod, Aeneas Johnston, Greg Campbell and Heber Ross. The flowerbearers were Danielle Peters, Kimberley MacKinnon and Elaine MacLennan. The honorary pallbearers were all who were in attendance. Among those in attendance were members of Eastern Star #69, Montague and Spring Park United UCW, Charlottetown. The committal service took place in the Dundas Community Cemetery. The Eastern Star #69 Montague held a service of remembrance at the funeral home.
