Classes

An indoor winter cycling class for seniors 55-plus is being offered at MacQueen's Bike Shop in Charlottetown on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon. Spaces are limited so it is advisable to call first. For rates and other information, contact Kelley at 902-368-2453.

Presentation

A free cooking for one or two class will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2-3 p.m., at the Stratford Sobeys. Join a Sobeys dietitian and learn how to prepare tasty recipes. Samples are provided. Call 902566-4399 to register; space is limited.

Skip Bo is played at the Cornwall Civic Centre on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2.

Cash bingo is at the Montague Legion Br. 8, 15 Douses Rd., Thursdays, 7 p.m., with a 50/50 draw, a progressive jackpot, canteen service and complimentary tea and coffee.

Card play is Thursdays, 7 p.m., at St. Margaret's Hall.

Stratford weekly Cribbage, sponsored by the Stratford Lions Club, is at the Cotton Centre, 57 Bunbury Rd., Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. Prizes are $100, $60 and $40. Admission: $6 per person; all are welcome. Proceeds go to Lions' community projects. Call 902-569-2409.

Fundraisers

Chase the Ace is at New London Community Complex every Friday, 6-9 p.m., sponsored by the New London Community Complex and the New London Fire Co. All 19 and over are welcome.

A weekly social is at the Fort Augustus Rec Centre on Fridays, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and trivia starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold until 8 p.m. for a chance to win a growing jackpot currently at more than $3,285. Ticket prices are five for $5, 12 for $10 and 25 for $20. The bar is open, and wings are available for $1 each (cash only). Come for the social, find the Queen of Hearts and leave with the cash.
