Reserve
Feb. 7, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for the Holy Redeemer Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast at Jack Blanchard Family Centre, Pond Street, Charlottetown. Enjoy pancakes and/or french toast, sausages, baked beans, a topping, syrup and a beverage (coffee or tea and juice). The price is adults, $5, youth (ages eight to 14), $3, and children seven and younger, no charge.
Feb. 8, 4:30-6 p.m., for St. John’s ACW annual pre-Lent pancake
and sausage supper to be held in the church hall, 391 Trans-Canada Highway, Crapaud. Admission is by donation (storm date, Feb. 9).
Fundraisers

The donation centre of the Welcome Project is open on Saturdays only 9 a.m.-2 p.m., until further notice. Co-ordinated by the P.E.I. A benefit for Alex Hagen of Charlottetown is Jan. 31 at the Haviland Club in Charlottetown, 7 p.m. There will be a silent auction, bake sale and 50/50 draw. He is currently undergoing cancer treatment in Halifax. He is the son of Donna Hagen and the grandson of Mary and Doug Hagen.
