KENNEDY Wilfred Douglas

Peacefully with his wife at his side at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, July 21, 2016 of Wilfred Douglas Kennedy of Charlottetown. On August 22, 2016 Doug would have turned 67 years of age. Loving husband to Pat (Gallant) for 44 and ½ years and very proud father of Michael. Cherished brother to Anne (John) Thomson of Charlottetown, and Sandy (Tamara) Kennedy of Brampton, Ontario. Brother-inlaw of Doug (Mary Lou) Gallant, Elaine (Len) Doucette, Paul (Mary) Gallant, Donna (Henk) Kauffman, Carl (Lynn) Gallant and Kevin (Mary Ellen) Gallant. Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Keith Kennedy and parents-in-law Angie and James H. Gallant. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Sunday with funeral service from Spring Park United Church at 1:30 p.m. Cremation and burial will take place at a later date.
