Staying perfect
Island rugby squad undefeated in Nova Scotia senior men’s rugby regular season
It’s a perfect season so far for the P.E.I. Mudmen Third Division team after a 36-31 victory over Enfield on Saturday in Charlottetown.
The Mudmen finished 8-0 (won-lost) and atop the Nova Scotia Senior Men’s Rugby League Third Division standings, and have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Dates yet to be determined
With Enfield pressing for a score late in the game, Mudmen veteran Rob Carter tackled an Enfield player at the line, stripped the ball and forced him to knock the ball on ending the game and securing the win.
