Morning raid finds stash of pills
A drug raid early Wednesday morning has intercepted a large amount of methamphetamine pills and landed two women in jail.
Charlottetown Police Services street crime unit seized more than 1,000 methamphetamine pills, a quantity of Percocet, a quantity of cash, and brass knuckles, a prohibited weapon, after executing a search warrant at a Prince Street address.
Two Charlottetown-area women, aged 33 and 29, face charges of trafficking in narcotics and possessing a prohibited weapon.
They are both remaining in jail until their show cause hearing in provincial court at a later date.
