Craig Cardiff at Trailside tonight

-

Craig Cardiff will be playing the Trailside in Mount Stewart tonight at 8 p.m. For the past two and a half years, he has been passing around a Book of Truths during his shows and asking his fans to share something truthful in it — a story, a confession, a hope, a secret. The book gives fans a chance to write down something they might be too afraid to say out loud, and it gives Cardiff an opportunity to connect with the people who come to his shows.

With a voice described as “warm, scratched, sad and that expose the human condition, putting a magnifying glass to the clumsier and less proud moments.

“We love having Craig play the Trailside,” says owner Pat Deighan. “You never know what to expect and it’s always very intimate. One time we had someone ask his girlfriend to marry him during one of Craig’s Trailside shows.”

Tickets are available at www. trailside.ca, Back Alley Music or by calling 902-394-3626 for reservations. Doors and kitchen open at 6:30 p.m.
