Halifax punk-rock outfit Like A Motorcycle has had a busy summer.

First band members premiered their new video for “Nobody Knows” on Chart Attack. Directed by Dillon Garland and Chelsea Comeau, the video “takes you on wild goose chase through the sunny streets of Halifax on the hot heels of summer – with all the joie de vivre of Motörhead,” a news release states.

Then the band released its debut LP, “High Hopes” via Groundswell Music.

Music enthusiasts can catch the band today, at 9:30 p.m., at Babas in Charlottetown.

Like A Motorcycle formed in January of 2011 after guitarist Jillian Comeau returned home from a brief stint in Saskatchewan and teamed up with longtime friend and bass player Kim Carson. When it came time to find a drummer, there was no question that it would be anyone other than Michelle Skelding. In the summer of 2014, the band expanded to include a second guitarist, kt lamond.
