Seniors college is registering

-

Winter may not be over quite yet, but the Seniors College of P.E.I. is already preparing to help people thaw out with a new spring term of learning.

The college’s spring term starts the first week of April, and features courses in everything from astronomy, gardening and Canadian law to chair yoga, computers, painting and the natural world of birds and plants of P.E.I.

“In the Spring term, we try to include courses that will get us out of the house, and into the warmer weather”, said the college’s board chairperson Georgina Clow.

Registrations are now being accepted for anyone 50 or over. One registration fee of $160 is good for a full calendar year of three terms, and for as many courses in as many locations across P.E.I. as people would like to take. For a full course calendar and details on registering, go to www.seniorscollege.ca, find the college on Facebook (Senior’s College of PEI), email the college at seniors college@upei, or call coordinator Martha Ellis at 902-894-2867.
