WASHINGTON, Phyllis

Passed at Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Friday, February 24, 2017 of Phyllis Washington of Charlottetown, age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late William Washington, loving mother of Brad (Coralee Lane), Lois Wooldridge (Larry), Rob (Pam) and Billy (Tracy); stepmother of Jill and Jack (Debbie). Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brytnie, John, Logan, Thomas, Victoria, Justin, Elora, Jeffery, Dustin, William, Emma and great grandchild - Hudson; sister - Florence Griffin (Billie) and brother-in-law - Ed Washington (Jeanne). She was predeceased by her parents - Louis and Winnie (nee Hughes) Grimes, brother - Gerard Grimes and parents-in-law - Frank and May Washington. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. Honoring the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation. A private family Celebration of Life will be held. Interment will take place later at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fort Augustus. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
