With dignity and peace at the Provincial Palliative Care Center on Sunday, February, 26, 2017 of Vivian MacKinnon (nee Birt) of Charlottetown, age 91 years. Wife of the late Robert Neil MacKinnon. Loving mother of Marilyn MacKinnon (John Giddings), Sonia (“B.I.”) Lawlor and Roberta Barrett. Nanny to Rob, Carrie, Richie, Amie, Mallorie and Chelsie. Great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Reta Balderston. Predeceased by her parents Lodge and Eunice Birt, sisters Gladys Myers, Viola Sentner and brothers Clifford and Carl Birt. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from Trinity United Church at 11 a.m. Interment later in Sherwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Kidney Foundation or Hospice PEI would be appreciated.
