Members of the P.E.I. Women’s Institute District #9, including Canoe Cove, Clyde River, Hampshire, Long Creek, Meadow Bank, North River, Rice Point, Riverdale/ Churchill and St. Catherines, are invited to the area convention at North River Fire Hall, March 1. The Arthritis Society is presenting a Living Well with

Arthritis program at the Confederat­ion Centre Public Library March 1, 2 p.m. This program is designed to empower older adults living with arthritis on P.E.I. and assist them in understand­ing their illness. Classes

Chair yoga is at the Milton Community Hall on Wednesday, 9 a.m. The instructor is Angelie Carter. Cost is $3 with support from the Central Region Sport and Recreation Council. Yoga is cancelled if local schools are delayed or cancelled due to the weather.

Cards/Bridge/Crokinole Beginner and intermedia­te

Bridge lessons are at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, Wednesdays, 12:45 p.m.

Auction is at the North Rustico

Lions Club Wednesdays at 1 p.m. Cost is $10 a team. 50/50 draw for Lionnettes charities. Scrabble is played at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Wednesdays, 1 p.m.

Euchre is played at the Montague Legion, Douses Road Wednesdays, 1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Auction/45s is at the Jack

Blanchard Family Centre, Charlottet­own, Wednesdays 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2. There will also be a 50/50 draw.

Card games are at St. Francis

church hall in Cornwall Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of auction and a cup of tea. Partners are not required.

Card parties (45s) are in St. Teresa’s in the church activity room, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. The game is being played as singles, so a partner is not necessary. There is a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch.

St. Pius X Church Knights of Columbus cribbage is Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., in the basement of St. Pius X Church, St. Peter’s Road, Charlottet­own, with prize, a loonie pot and a 50/50 draw. Bring a partner. Cost: $5 per person. The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, is having a Cribbage tournament March 2. Registrati­on begins at 9:15 a.m. with the games at 9:30 a.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. There will be a 50/50 draw as well as prizes for first, second and third. Partners are not required but are recommende­d.
