The Winsloe United Church ceilidh on Victoria Day has announced the lineup for what organizers say will be an exciting show that begins at 7:30 p.m.

Popular P.E.I. entertainer, Dino Dunsford is returning as host after a four-month absence. He will welcome featured guests Eddy Quinn and Keelin Wedge. These popular entertainers always draw a big crowd and put on a great show.

Quinn was raised in Cardigan and began his music career at a young age. After he won a singing competition on Bud Country he then became lead singer with Urban Outlaws and later with the Johnny Ross Band, Old Habits and Fiddlers’ Sons. He has five albums with Fiddlers’ Sons, was nominated for an East Coast Music Award and won several Music P.E.I. Awards, including vocalist of the year and country album of the year. He recently released a new CD which he will have available, as well as his book, “Island Characters”.

Wedge from St. Louis P.E.I., is a multi-instrumentalist playing fiddle, guitar, bass, mandolin and drums, as well as singing and step-dancing. She is a talented performer who has lots of energy and loves all kinds of music. She plays in a variety of groups, including Fiddlers’ Sons.

She and Quinn will be teaming up along with the house band for a evening of toe-tapping fiddle music, amazing guitar playing, and vocals. The last time these two performed at the ceilidh they got a standing ovation.

This is a fundraising ceilidh for Winsloe United Church, which is located at 121 Winsloe Rd. next to the Confederation Trail. The Church is wheelchair accessible and offers plenty of parking. There will be a light lunch served and tickets are $10 at the door with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
