Workshop

The Arthritis Society is presenting a Gardening With Arthritis workshop May 24, 2 p.m., at the Confederat­ion Centre Public Library. It will discuss how to make gardening easier when living with arthritis. Phone 902-6282288 or email info@pe.arthritis.ca to register for this free program.

Fundraiser

Holy Redeemer Parish is holding a roast beef dinner fundraiser at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, May 28, 6 p.m. Tickets are $25. Funds will support a number of projects planned by the parish. Performanc­e

Music for Ascension, sung by St. Peter’s Choir, will be presented May 24, 7 p.m., at St. Peter’s Cathedral, All Souls’ Lane, Charlottet­own, featuring Missa Super Dixit Maria by Hans Leo Hassler, Viri Galilaei By Dulos Couillart, Selections from Fiori Musicali by Girolamo Frescobald­i and Gregorian Propers and Hymns.

Health/Classes

Regular yoga classes are the first four weeks in May at the Milton Community Hall on Wednesdays at 9 a.m.

Beginner and intermedia­te Bridge lessons are at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, Wednesdays, 12:45 p.m.

Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole

Scrabble is played at the Seniors

Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Wednesdays, 1 p.m.

Euchre is played at the Montague Legion, Douses Road Wednesdays, 1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Auction/45s is at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, Charlottet­own, Wednesdays 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2. There will also be a 50/50 draw.

Cards games are at St. Francis church hall

in Cornwall Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of auction and a cup of tea. Partners are not required.

Card parties (45s) are in St. Teresa’s in the church activity room, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. The game is being played as singles, so a partner is not necessary. There is a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch.
