Here are the sports Team P.E.I. is participat­ing in during the 2017 Canada Games in Winnipeg.

Week 1

Basketball (male and female) Cycling (mountain bike) Rowing

Sailing

Soccer (female)

Softball (male) Triathlon

Beach volleyball (male and female)

Week 2

Cycling (road)

Golf

Soccer (male)

Softball (female) Swimming

Tennis

Indoor volleyball

(male and female) Wrestling

Sports not competing in –

Canoe/kayak and diving.

Medals

– P.E.I. has won 11 medals in four sports at Canada Summer Games. They are athletics, swimming, men’s softball and wrestling.

– The most medals won at one Summer Games was at the 2009 Games in P.E.I. where they won four.

Leadership

Team P.E.I. is led by Brian McFeely, chef de mission, and Joanne Wallace and Francois Caron, who will serve as assistant chef de missions.
