Kathy Birt will launch her crime novel spoof, “Lady and the Plant(s)”, on June 10 at 2 p.m. at the Haviland Club in Charlottetown. Copies will be available at local books stores, the Charlottetown Farmers’ Market and some gift shops as the summer tourist season unfolds.

The Island Matters Rug Hooking group and members of other hooking groups across P.E.I. are encouraging the public to bring out their vintage (25 years old or more) and antique hooked mats and other hooked items to be recorded on the P.E.I. Eptek Art & Culture Centre features Art Begets Art: Hooked Mats and the Art that Inspired Them”.
