Burke was one of hundreds of Islanders who went to the waterfront dressed in red and white to help Torrens shoot a scene for a CBC special, “Your Special Canada”, that will air nationally June 25 at 9 p.m. and at 7 p.m. on Canada Day. The scene saw Torrens, a Charlottet­ownborn actor best known for his work on Trailer Park Boys, jumps into a giant butter tart while surrounded by a crowd.
