Corey Burke and his 10-week-old daughter, Ammie Steele-Burke, get their picture taken with television personality Jonathon Torrens at the Charlottetown waterfront. Burke was one of hundreds of Islanders who went to the waterfront dressed in red and white to help Torrens shoot a scene for a CBC special, “Your Special Canada”, that will air nationally June 25 at 9 p.m. and at 7 p.m. on Canada Day. The scene saw Torrens, a Charlottetownborn actor best known for his work on Trailer Park Boys, jumps into a giant butter tart while surrounded by a crowd.
