Montague Regional High School

Report cards and exams for Grade 10 and 11 students will be available for distribution on June 28, 8:45-10 a.m., in the cafeteria.

For the remainder of the day, students can pick them up from your homeroom and subject teachers. After Wednesday, come to the main office.

Students are reminded that all textbooks and library materials must have been returned before classes end for the year. Students will be charged for non-returned items.

The first instructional day of classes for 2017-18 is Sept. 7. The school wishes students and their families a wonderful and safe summer.

Colonel Gray High School

Today is the last day for graduates to submit their green transcript sheet to Student Services, indicating where final marks need to be sent at the end of June. If a student is applying for a bursary due over the summer, the bursary/scholarship address may also be added to the transcript form.

The graduation ceremony is today at 2 p.m. at UPEI. There is no limit on guests per graduate. At 1 p.m. students will pick up assigned grad gowns at Colonel Gray and then assemble on the school’s front walkway. Buses will proceed to UPEI at 1:30 p.m. Then, immediately following graduation, all students come back to the school by bus to return gowns. No-cost Safe Grad activities begin, starting at the school, and running through the night until 1:30 a.m., when parents can pick up their 2017 graduate.

Report cards for Grades 10 and 11 will be available for pick-up on June 28, 9-11 a.m. These will not be mailed out during the summer months, but will remain in the main office for September pick-up.

Teachers Rosemary Fleming, Kevin MacLeod, Susan Joy Nowe and Nora Wotton are wished all the best as they begin a well-earned retirement.

A 40th reunion is being planned for the class of 1977 on July 29 at the Murphy Community Centre at 8 p.m.

Surplus yearbooks, from sporadic years in the past, are available for sale for just $10, by calling the school.
