Classes

Chair yoga is Tuesdays, 6:45 p.m., at Sanctuary Yoga And Massage in the Sherwood Business Centre at 161 St. Peters Rd. This 10-week program teaches how to stretch in a safe and gentle way while restoring range of motion and decreasing pain. The City of Charlottet­own and the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre will be having a trip on Thursday June 29 to the Cavendish area. Spend your morning at the P.E.I. Preserve Company exploring the flower gardens, butterfly house and the shop before having lunch there. After, head to Cavendish and Avonlea Village and the Rustico area, with a stop at the Rustico Bay Wool Sweater Company. There are 30 seats available on the bus which will leave from Oak Tree at 9:15 a.m. and SALC at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $30 per person and does not include lunch. Seats are not booked until paid for.
