Drunk man weaves past police

A drunk driver drove erratically past police officers on patrol earlier this week and is now in jail. Charlottetown Police Services was conducting routine patrols early Monday night on Mt. Edward Road and saw the weaving vehicle. Officers stopped it and soon determined the driver was drunk. The accused man, a 26-year-old resident of Cornwall, was put in jail and will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
