Red Rock Wrestling set for shows in Montague and Summerside for this July

Red Rock Wrestling returns to the mat next month with shows in Montague on Saturday, July 15, at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre and Summerside on Sunday, July 16, at Credit Union Place. Bell time is 7 p.m. for both events.

The shows are highlighte­d by Red Rock Wrestling champion “The Big Picture” Chris Cooke, “Kowboy” Mike Hughes as well as Zack Doyle, all of whom reside on Prince Edward Island.

Other stars scheduled to perform is the six-foot, eight-inch, 320 pound Brody Steele, Lincoln Steen, Riddick Stone, the American Patriot as well as the return of the menacing Vorhees.

Matches for the events will be announced over the coming weeks.

Hughes said he’s pumped to perform in front of his fellow Islanders again.

“Red Rock Wrestling has the best fans in the country and we look forward to bringing our brand of profession­al wrestling to the beautiful towns of Montague and Summerside,” said Hughes in a release. “It’s a great opportunit­y for us to bring our show to locations that we don’t get the opportunit­y to perform in on a regular basis.”

Advance tickets for the Montague show are available at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre box office, Naturally Fit in Charlottet­own and Phinley’s Diner in Stratford, while advance tickets for the Summerside show are available at the Iron Haven gyms in Summerside and Alberton, and at the Boys and Girls Club of Summerside.

Advance tickets for both shows are $12 for kids and seniors while adults are $15. All tickets are $20 at the gate the night of the events.
