Cummins 150 lone stop in N.B. this season
Special Canada Day race planned at Speedway 660
The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour makes its only visit of the season to New Brunswick for a special Canada Day edition.
The Cummins 150 will take place at Speedway 660, which is a one-third-mile high-banked oval located just outside Fredericton in Geary, N.B.
Qualifying gets underway with the Atlantic Tiltload heat races at 6:30 p.m.
This will be Round 5 of 12 for the popular Maritime-based touring series.
There is a new championship points’ leader heading into Speedway 660.
Dylan Blenkhorn of Truro, N.S., has taken a slim eightpoint lead over season-long points leader and two-time Series champion Shawn Turple of Enfield, N.S.
Dylan Gosbee of Cornwall has had a strong string of races, which is paying off in points as he now sits third in the standings. Current Series champion Cole Butcher of Porter’s Lake, N.S., enters the Canada Day event still within the hunt in fourth place.
Greg Proude of Springvale has also been consistent this season as he sits in fifth position for the coveted tour title.
