JOHNSTONE, Marion H.

The funeral for Marion H. Johnstone of MacLeod Care Clinton View Lodge, Clinton and formerly of Long River was held Wednesday June 28, 2017 in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel Kensington where the service was conducted at 11 a.m. by Rev. Pix Butt. Remembrances were shared by Barbara Doughart. The duet of Peter and Cindy Blanding rendered the selection How Great Thou Art. Congregational hymns were The Lord’s My Shepherd and When the Roll is Called Up Yonder. Organist was Linda Paynter. Attending the funeral were members of the Long River Women’s Institute, Southwest River United Church Women, representatives of MacLeod Care Clinton View Lodge, Board of Directors of the New London Fire Company and Firefighters of the New London Fire Department. Pallbearers were Brian Johnstone, Paul Johnstone, Wayne Profitt, Brian Profitt, Garth Profitt and David Howard. Flowerbearers were Faye Gillis, Linda Cole, Lynn Taylor and Danny Profitt. Interment was in the Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
