Ironic closure of Province House

Does no one see the irony in the fact that in the very building in which Confederation took place was unavailable for both tourists and locals to visit on this very special day, Canada Day, because “it is under renovation.” It is not like the ‘talking heads of government’ knew that July 1st 2017, our 150th birthday was not coming.

Yes, the building needed renovations, but may I add that the timing was exquisite, right in the middle of the biggest celebration for this country. How embarrassing for Prince Edward Island and Canada.
