The fu­neral for Eileen Trainor was held on Fri­day, June 16, 2017 from the Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home to St. Pius X Church where the con­celeb­trated fu­neral mass was of­fered by Fa­ther Ger­ard Tin­g­ley as chief cel­e­brant and homilist. He was as­sisted by Fa­ther Mau­rice Praught and Fa­ther Craig Chris­ten­son. The fu­neral pall was placed on Eileen’s cas­ket by Mae Chap­man, Ann Perry, Au­drey Mur­phy and Al­berta Smith. The paschal can­dle was lit by Jen­nifer and Reese Trainor and Alexis Mal­lett. The gifts were brought to the al­tar by Mary Blanchard, Anne Cote and Lor­raine Jel­ley. The first read­ing was pro­claimed by grand­daugh­ter Emma Han­ne­man and the sec­ond read­ing was pro­claimed by son Paul Trainor. The prayers of in­ter­ces­sion were of­fered by son-in-law Mark Han­ne­man. Mu­sic was pro­vided by Doug and Michelle Mackey and Sheridyth MacNeil. They ren­dered the en­trance hymn, All Who Are Thirsty, the psalm, The Lords My Shep­herd. the of­fer­tory hymn, Rest In God Alone, the med­i­ta­tion hymn, Lord I Need You, the farewell bless­ing May The Road Rise and the re­ces­sional hymn, Be Not Afraid. The com­mu­nion hymn, Here I Am Lord was ren­dered by daugh­ter Mary Han­ne­man. The pall­bear­ers were Luke Han­ne­man, Colin Smith, Jamie O’Han­ley, Joey Mur­phy, Ja­son O’Han­ley and Ron­nie Blanchard. The hon­orary pall­bear­ers were Em­mett Mur­phy, Louis Mur­phy, Noel McIn­nis and Rol­lie McIn­nis. The in­ter­ment took place in the Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery where Fr. Tin­g­ley held the grave­side ser­vice.
