The fu­neral for Wes­ley MacKen­zie was held on Satur­day, July 1, 2017 from the Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home Chapel. The ser­vice was con­ducted by Rev­erend Gary Clark who also read the gospel and gave the med­i­ta­tion. Words of re­mem­brance in honor of Wes­ley were given by fam­ily friend Rick Mur­phy. Dur­ing the ser­vice Tom Vail and El­iz­a­beth Mosher ren­dered the mu­sic se­lec­tions, Take Me Home Coun­try Roads and One More Day. The con­gre­ga­tional hymn was In The Bulb There Is A Flower. The pall­bear­ers were Scott An­der­son, Clay­ton Black­ett, Wayne Bow­ley, Blois Ding­well, Gary MacKen­zie and Brian Mac­Don­ald. The flower bear­ers were Sissy Mac­Don­ald and Selina Trainor. Hon­orary Pall­bear­ers were ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance. Among those at­tend­ing the fu­neral were man­age­ment and staff of Morell Credit Union. The in­ter­ment took place in Midgell Ceme­tery, where Rev­erend Clark held the grave­side ser­vice.
