Tignish man fined $2,500 under Fisheries Act

SUMMERSIDE – Fraser Gavin, 27, of Tignish has pleaded guilty to fishing for lobster in Lobster Fishing Area 25 while the area was closed.

The charge is from June 11 off North Cape.

Gavin was fined $2,500 and had to forfeit several items.
