The 97rd annual Spring Brook Soldiers Monuments memorial service
is Sunday, July 9, 2:30 p.m., at Spring Brook, 5656 Route 20. Rev. Margie Fagan will be officiating, and all are welcome.

Toe Tappin’ Tunes ‘n Tales Ceilidh
continues July 11 at the Britannia Hall, 816 Canada Road (Rte. 178), Tyne Valley. Doors open at 7, show begins at 7:30 p.m. Guest entertainers this week include Lowell Palmer, the Steppettes stepdancers, Roy MacCaull and Friends Kim Tuplin and Cathy McFadyen Jackman. Admission is adults, $8, students, $3. Proceeds are in aid of the Bideford Parsonage Museum.

Tracadie Lions Summer Sunday
Brunch is every Sunday, 10-11:30 a.m., with pancakes, sausage, beans, toast, fruits, cheese, jams, tea, coffee, juice and fresh baked goods. The cost is $7 per adult, $4 per child (pre-schoolers free), accepting cash and debit at the door. All proceeds go towards ongoing community support projects. Tracadie Community Centre is on the Station Road, Tracadie Cross.
New London Community Complex,
10227 Route 6, New London, is serving breakfast every Sunday all summer from 9-11:30 p.m. Menu includes pancakes with whipped cream and fruit toppings, sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, tea and coffee. Tickets are $10 adults and $5 kids. For information, call 902-886-2599.

Wednesday Evenings with L.M.
