Gallant pleads guilty

SUMMERSIDE — Jeffery Michael Gallant, 27, of Norboro, pleaded guilty to driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.

The charge is from March 28 in Summerside. Gallant was sentenced to serve five days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently, and he must remain on probation until his time is served.

Gallant must pay a $1,300 victim surcharge and a $390 victim surcharge and is prohibited from driving for 12 months.
