Khadr settlement provides relief

The United Nations determined that Omar Khadr was a child soldier, and declared that he was entitled to protection provided by international law.

After Canada’s many years of failure to provide this protection and to ensure his human rights as a Canadian citizen, I was deeply relieved by the recent Canadian settlement with him.
