Better wind for a day of racing
Winds were too light to race on the opening day Thursday of East Coast Docks Charlottetown Race Week, but Friday allowed for racing to resume. Two boats are shown on the course during a race Friday in Hillsborough Bay. The event is celebrating 32 years of keel-boat racing and is a tradition among many Atlantic Canada competitors, say organizers. Officially, the races are scheduled to conclude today, but extra time may need to be added to make up races missed Thursday.
