P.E.I., New Brunswick soccer teams tie 1-1

Prince Edward Island’s women’s soccer team played to a 1-1 tie Friday with their counterparts from New Brunswick in a matchup of teams preparing for this summer’s Canada Games. The New Brunswick Premier Women’s Soccer League game took place near Moncton. Lauren Clark scored the Island squad’s goal while Adele Arsenault was the team’s keeper. New Brunswick improved to 2-5-1 while P.E.I. improved to 1-4-2. The Island squad hosts the Fredericton Reds today at 3 p.m. at UPEI.
