Advantage Communicat­ions hires new CEO

Advantage Communicat­ions Inc. (ACI), headquarte­red on the Island, has hired Gregory Hough as its president and chief executive officer.

CEO of nine years Kent MacPhee will continue with the service provider as its new chair of the board of directors.

Prior to joining ACI, Hough held executive roles at Convergys and has led service delivery at American Express. He has also worked as a business process outsourcin­g consultant for companies around the world.

Advantage employs more than 300 people in Eastern Canada. The outsourced service provider was founded in Charlottet­own in 1996, and now has operations across Eastern Canada and in Kingston, Jamaica.
