Ad­van­tage Com­mu­ni­ca­tions hires new CEO

Ad­van­tage Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Inc. (ACI), head­quar­tered on the Is­land, has hired Gre­gory Hough as its pres­i­dent and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer.

CEO of nine years Kent MacPhee will con­tinue with the ser­vice provider as its new chair of the board of di­rec­tors.

Prior to join­ing ACI, Hough held ex­ec­u­tive roles at Con­ver­gys and has led ser­vice de­liv­ery at Amer­i­can Ex­press. He has also worked as a busi­ness process out­sourc­ing con­sul­tant for com­pa­nies around the world.

“The cul­ture and peo­ple at ACI makes this com­pany truly unique and un­par­al­leled in de­liv­er­ing su­pe­rior re­sults,” said Hough.

“The fu­ture of ACI is bright with an­tic­i­pa­tion of con­tin­ued growth. Planned in­vest­ments in peo­ple, process and tech­nol­ogy con­tinue to po­si­tion ACI as an in­no­vat­ing out­sourcer, well-po­si­tioned to ex­pand across North Amer­ica, Latin Amer­ica and the Caribbean.”

Ad­van­tage em­ploys more than 300 peo­ple in East­ern Canada. The out­sourced ser­vice provider was founded in Char­lot­te­town in 1996, and now has op­er­a­tions across East­ern Canada and in Kingston, Ja­maica.
