Peacefully at the PEI Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Friday, July 14, 2017 Joanne Cooney of Charlottetown formerly of Montreal and Calgary, age 62 years. Survived by her husband Steven, daughter Kimberley Domenko (Rob), granddaughters Jenifer and Sarah and a large family of relatives and friends across Canada. Sister of Donna Brayton (Jimmy) and Derick (Annette). Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Iris Brown and sister Linda Brown. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown from where the memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 7355 Lajeunesse Street, Montreal on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. No visitation by request. Heartfelt thanks to the Care Teams who became her friends at the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre and the Provincial Palliative Care Centre and Dr. Jocelyn Peterson who as it turns out, is an angel in doctors clothing.
