WEATHERBY, Yvonne Marie

The funeral for Yvonne Marie Weatherby was held Thursday, July 6, 2017 from MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel to St. Peter’s Cathedral where the service was conducted by The Reverend David Garrett, assisted by The Reverend Ralph Moore. The scripture was read by grandson Joseph Weatherby. The prayers of intercession were offered by son-in-law David Roberts. Words of remembrance were given by her children Leedya MacMillan and George Weatherby. The St. Peter’s Cathedral Choir directed by Carl Mathis, led in the singing of the congregational hymns: The Strife is O’er; Praise, My Soul, The King of Heaven; Amazing Grace; Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence and Now Thank We All Our God. Organist was Gloria Jay. In attendance were members of the Anglican Church Women. Honourary pallbearers were Richard Maziade, Marlene Yared and Robert Zaor. Pallbearers were son George Weatherby, sons-inlaw David Roberts and Donald MacMillan and grandsons Joseph Weatherby and Alexander and Joshua Roberts. Flowerbearers were granddaughters Thea Weatherby, Emma, Abbey and Grace MacMillan and grandson Eli Roberts. Interment took place in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery.
