Man arrested after domestic violence call

Charlottetown Police Services received a 911 call Wednesday night about an assault happening at an address on St. Peters Road. A woman told police that a man assaulted her. The two knew each other, a police report says. No one suffered serious injuries.

Police arrested a 48-year-old man, a resident of Charlottetown, charging him with assault.

He will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
