Murray Harbour hosts gospel ceilidh

The Murray Harbour Community Centre will be holding a gospel ceilidh today at 7:30 p.m.

The evening starts off with Wayne MacLean, Mel Giddings, Kenny Chapman, Jo-Anne Ford and Michael Buell.

Len Buell and Edna MacMaster will also perform. Len may also be persuaded to whistle a tune or two.

Marion Bruce will be joined on stage with her friends, Leith and Evy Lou McCarron.

Ford will also bring along some of her instruments to pair up with Michael Buell and his guitar.

Marie Lou MacLure and Walter Ching will also be part of the entertainment lineup and Marie MacIntyre will perform a selection of gospel hymns.

Louis MacKay will share a variety of country gospel songs and act as MC for the evening.

There will also be a special pastor’s group taking the stage to fill the event out.

Admission is $5 and also includes a snack.
