The an­nual Bru­denell Pioneers Memo­rial Ser­vice is Sun­day, July 23, 3 p.m., at the Mon­tague Church of Christ on Main Street. The guest speaker will be Lynda McFar­lane, Larry Fitz­patrick will be pip­ing, Beth Smith will read a Scot­tish poem and a memo­rial wreath will be laid. A pic­nic will fol­low at the church. All are wel­come.

Cards

A summer cards tour­na­ment is Mon­day, July 24, 1:30 p.m. at the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion hall in Bor­den-Car­leton. Spon­sored by the Bor­den-Car­leton se­niors, doors open at 12:30 p.m. Ad­mis­sion is $7 and in­cludes a buf­fet lunch, a 50/50 and a draw for a fish prod­uct bas­ket as well as door prizes.
