Fundraiser

West River United Church’s annual strawberry and ice cream social and bake sale is Wednesday, July 26 at 9 Cornwall Rd. from 4:306:30 p.m. Sandwiches and sweets will be served. Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole

Scrabble is played at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Wednesdays, 1 p.m.

Auction/45s is at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, Charlottetown, Wednesdays 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2. There will also be a 50/50 draw.

Card parties (45s) are in St. Teresa’s in the church activity room, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. The game is being played as singles, so a partner is not necessary. There is a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch.

St. Pius X Church Knights of Columbus cribbage is Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., in the basement of St.

Pius X Church, St. Peter’s Road, Charlottetown, with prize, a loonie pot and a 50/50 draw. Bring a partner. Cost: $5 per person.

Health/classes

Shorehill Yoga is offering free, beach yoga classes on Wednesdays, 6 p.m. during July and August at Argyle Shore Provincial Park, weather permitting. Come enjoy yoga outside on the beautiful south shore. Bring a mat, hat, some water and friends and neighbours. All are welcome. Contact Annella at 902 626-7560 or check the website at Shorehill.ca.
