The fu­neral for Grace Roloson was held on Friday, July 21, 2017 from Belvedere Fu­neral Home to St. John’s Pres­by­te­rian Church, Belfast where the ser­vice was con­ducted by Rev. Roger MacPhee, as­sisted by Rev. James Murchi­son. The or­gan­ist was Fran McBurnie. Dur­ing the ser­vice the St. John’s Pres­by­te­rian Church Choir sang “How Great Thou Art”. The con­gre­ga­tional hymns were “The Lord’s My Shep­herd” and “Amaz­ing Grace”. Words of re­mem­brance were shared by grand­daugh­ter, Grace McIsaac Havenga. Pall­bear­ers were grand­chil­dren; Craig Mor­ri­son, Paul Murchi­son, Brett Roloson, Katelin Mac Adam, Ros­silind Sweazey and Daniel McIsaac. In­ter­ment took place in St. John’s Pres­by­te­rian Church Ceme­tery. Those at­tend­ing the fu­neral ser­vice in­cluded mem­bers of the Mer­maid Women’s In­sti­tute; man­age­ment, staff and Grace’s room­mate, Edith Martin, from the Dr. John Gil­lis Memo­rial Lodge and staff of Agri­cul­ture Canada.
