Baseball bat alleged weapon
Charlottetown Police Services received a 911 call early Friday, around 12:30 a.m., about an alleged assault underway. The complainant told officers that a man approached him at his residence and threatened him while brandishing a bat. Both men knew each other and there was no injury resulting from the incident.
Police went on to arrest a 26-year-old resident of Charlottetown and will prepare a charge against him of assault with a weapon. The accused will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
