Vol­un­tary Re­source Coun­cil seek­ing nom­i­na­tions for awards

The Vol­un­tary Re­source Coun­cil (VRC) of P.E.I. is invit­ing nom­i­na­tions for the sixth an­nual out­stand­ing vol­un­teer awards.

The work of the VRC is to sup­port and build ca­pac­ity amongst vol­un­tary or­ga­ni­za­tions in P.E.I.

Non-profit or­ga­ni­za­tions and as­so­ci­a­tions are in­vited to nom­i­nate some­one for spe­cial recog­ni­tion. The se­lected vol­un­teers will be rec­og­nized at the coun­cil’s an­nual break­fast gala in Novem­ber.

Nom­i­na­tions should in­clude the name and con­tact in­for­ma­tion of the vol­un­teer and the or­ga­ni­za­tion/as­so­ci­a­tion, the mis­sion of the or­ga­ni­za­tion/ as­so­ci­a­tion and a de­scrip­tion of the con­tri­bu­tions of the in­di­vid­ual.

Nom­i­na­tions can be sub­mit­ted by email to vrc@east­link. ca, or by mail to Vol­un­tary Re­source Coun­cil, 81 Prince St., Char­lot­te­town, P.E.I., C1A 4R3.

The dead­line for nom­i­na­tions is Sept. 30.
