Sun awareness makes sense
Melanoma skin cancer survivor Marlene Cormier, 72, of Stratford holds up a string of photos that illustrate the potential harmful effects of sun exposure to the skin. Using computer software called AprilAge, the middle photo depicts her face having aged naturally while the photo on the right depicts her face having aged with sun damage. The Canadian Cancer Society launched its new sun safety feature – a UV photo booth – recently on Victoria Row.
