Belfast Historical Society looking forward to Highland Games

-

The Belfast Historical Society is part of the Highland Games at Selkirk Park, Eldon, Aug. 5 and 6.

The society will be selling tasty strawberries and ice cream at the park again this year.

The Croft House site of the Selkirk Scottish Heritage Centre is open both days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a great selection of Scottish clan items, jewelry and books. There is also a new and updated “Macleod’s of P.E.I.” available, as well as local author Margaret Westlie’s Selkirk historical fiction and more.

People are also invited to come and see the new look at the Croft House site, including the many historical artifacts found by Rick Barton in Lord Selkirk Park.
