EX­PECT DE­LAYS THIS WEEK

Long­worth Av­enue, be­tween Eus­ton and Belmont streets in Charlottetown, will be re­duced to one lane of al­ter­nat­ing traf­fic Tues­day and Wed­nes­day of this week for mi­cro­sur­fac­ing. Driv­ers are ad­vised to seek al­ter­nate routes, although side­walks within the con­struc­tion zone will re­main open.

Mo­torists are also ad­vised that Univer­sity Av­enue, be­tween Belvedere Av­enue and Kirk­wood Drive, will be re­duced to one lane in each di­rec­tion on Tues­day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This clo­sure is nec­es­sary to al­low main­te­nance on a sewer line.

Driv­ers are ad­vised to seek al­ter­nate routes, but side­walks will re­main open. Also this week, from Wed­nes­day un­til Fri­day, Cap­i­tal Drive will be re­duced to one lane for west­bound traf­fic ap­proach­ing the Lower Malpeque Road in­ter­sec­tion Traf­fic sig­nals will con­tinue to con­trol all ve­hi­cles at this in­ter­sec­tion, also known as the Queen’s Arms in­ter­sec­tion.
