EXPECT DELAYS THIS WEEK

Longworth Avenue, between Euston and Belmont streets in Charlottetown, will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic Tuesday and Wednesday of this week for microsurfacing. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes, although sidewalks within the construction zone will remain open.

Motorists are also advised that University Avenue, between Belvedere Avenue and Kirkwood Drive, will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This closure is necessary to allow maintenance on a sewer line.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes, but sidewalks will remain open. Also this week, from Wednesday until Friday, Capital Drive will be reduced to one lane for westbound traffic approaching the Lower Malpeque Road intersection Traffic signals will continue to control all vehicles at this intersection, also known as the Queen’s Arms intersection.
