What does it mean to be a Habitat for Humanity build participant? - Applicants must meet three main criteria: need; willingness to partner; ability to pay

- Participants do pay a mortgage, but there is no interest on the mortgage and no down payment on the mortgage. It is based on their income - Partner families must also do a minimum of 500 volunteer hours with Habitat for Humanity
