What does it mean to be a Habi­tat for Hu­man­ity build par­tic­i­pant? - Ap­pli­cants must meet three main cri­te­ria: need; will­ing­ness to part­ner; abil­ity to pay

- Par­tic­i­pants do pay a mort­gage, but there is no in­ter­est on the mort­gage and no down pay­ment on the mort­gage. It is based on their in­come - Part­ner fam­i­lies must also do a min­i­mum of 500 vol­un­teer hours with Habi­tat for Hu­man­ity
