The memo­rial ser­vice for Donna Walker was held on Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 9, 2017 from Belvedere Fu­neral Home to Park Royal United Church where the ser­vice was con­ducted by Rev. Kevin MacKenzie and Rev. David Camp­bell. The or­gan­ist was Va­lerie MacKenzie, ac­com­pa­nied by the Park Royal Choir. Words of re­mem­brance were shared by Jerry Lyons and Rose­mary Younker read scrip­ture pas­sages. The pro­ces­sional was Tears in Heaven and Wind Be­neath My wings was played as the re­ces­sional. The con­gre­ga­tional hymns were How Great Thou Art and Amaz­ing Grace. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were Jennifer Matthews, Kel­lie Davies, David Mac­Don­ald, Jory Irv­ing, Kait­lyn Irv­ing, Alex Irv­ing, Ryan Walker, Emily Walker, Deana Roberts, Suzanne Bow­ley, Jim Crawford, Joanne Crawford, Rose­mary Younker, Vic­tor Younker, Wanda Ma­cLean, Peggy Weather­bie and Joe Shelfoon. In­ter­ment took place in Flo­ral Hills Memo­rial Gar­dens where the grave­side ser­vice was con­ducted by Rev. David Camp­bell.
