Young performer wins event

Callie Thomson, 17, of Shamrock, won the P.E.I. Youth Talent Search competition hosted by the Prince County Exhibition and received $300 from P.E.I. Mutual representative Eddie Trail. Also on hand is provincial youth talent co-ordinator Jean Tingley. Thomson will represent the exhibition at the provincial finals Sept 1.
