After a lengthy illness, passed away on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 in Heart of Hastings Hospice, Madoc, Ontario. She was born Dec. 24, 1948 in Charlottet­own,

P.E.I., the eldest daughter of Wilfred F. Constable and Marion

J. (Howatt) Constable.

She will be missed by brothers Jim (Val), Ken (Bernice), Hal, Gary (Evelyn), Doug (Marlene) and sister Marilyn; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and God children Lucy, Courtney, Victoria and T.J. Marg maintained strong connection­s with her community in Ontario where she has lived since 1982. After she retired from Community Visions and Networking (CVN) she volunteere­d as secretary of the Belleville Associatio­n of the Deaf (BAD), sat on the Accessibil­ity Advisory Committee for the City of Belleville, and on the Board of Community Advocacy & Legal Centre (CALC). Marg was a member of Parkdale Baptist Church and then a faithful member of Quinte Deaf Fellowship. She was a soloist and while in Gallaudet (Class of 82), joined the Joyful Sign Choir and became choir director of Love Inspiratio­n. Thank you to the Hospice Quinte Day Program, the Canadian Hearing Society (CHS), the VON, Red Cross, BGH nurses, Dr. Coady and Dr. Robert Bates for their care and support. Charitable donations can be made to Hospice Quinte, Quinte Deaf Fellowship, CHS and Heart of Hastings. Cremation has already taken place. Friends and family can celebrate Marg’s life at Parkdale Baptist Church, 514 Sidney Street, Belleville on Monday September 11th, 2017 at 10 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Pastor H.
